RENTAL TERMS
1- The rental vehicle in the Ownership of the Lessor has been given to the Tenant for a predetermined period, provided that the following conditions are complied with. By signing this contract, the tenant accepts that he has received the vehicle he has rented with its undamaged spare, in perfect condition with five tires, with tools, traffic registration certificate, maps, etc. .
2- Financial analyzes of our customers who have not rented a car from our company in the last 3 months for a safer driving and rental will be made on the findeks.com site. If the report submission is not approved by you or the financial analysis result does not meet the conditions of Compass car rental, the vehicle will not be delivered even if a reservation has been made.
3. Rental Principles of Vehicles: Vehicles rented by the lessee,
a- In the transportation of goods that are in violation of the laws of the Republic of Turkey, especially the Highway Traffic Laws, Customs Laws and Firearms Legislation, and whose transportation is defined as a crime.
b- Except for the purpose of carrying passengers in automobile races, rallies, speed trials, motor sports, closed to traffic or unsuitable roads and terrains (such as mountainous terrain, sand, swamp, creek bed, etc.) and also in other ways that are not suitable for its technical structure and endurance,
c- In pulling or pushing other moving or non-moving vehicles
4- The tenant must have a driver's license for at least 2 years. The tenant cannot let third parties use the vehicle without the consent of the lessor.
5- The tenant has to park the vehicle locked and secure, except when driving. In case the vehicle is stolen and cannot be found, the lessor requests the first 45-day period from the lessee.
6- The lessee has to return all the official documents of the vehicle (Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate, Motor Vehicle Traffic Certificate, Insurance policy, Plates) and keys when delivering the vehicle to the lessor. If the tenant does not return these documents, he has to pay the rent payment until they return them, and in case of loss, he has to pay all the expenses for the issuance of new documents.
7- If the vehicle is confiscated or confiscated by the competent authorities due to any event, whether it is the tenant's fault or not, all expenses to be made to take it back belong to the tenant. The tenant also has to pay the rent for the days that will pass during this period.
8- Fuel expenses and HGS of the rented vehicle belong to the lessee.
9- The lessor has the right of recourse to the lessee for all damages that are not caused by his own fault and negligence, and for the periods when the vehicle is out of business.
10- The rental period is calculated as 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 30 days a month.
11- The lessor may terminate the contract unilaterally at any time, or may refrain from extending it, without having to show any reason and pay compensation.
12- The lessee cannot take the rented vehicle outside the borders of Turkey without the written consent of the lessor.
13- The parties agree that Turkish Law will be applied in disputes arising from the implementation of this contract and Istanbul Courts and Execution Offices will be authorized to resolve disputes.
14- Notifications made to the addresses specified by the tenant in the contract shall be deemed to have been made to him.
15- The Tenant accepts the invoice and commercial book records of the Lessor as definitive evidence.
Article 2 - PAYMENT
1- The rental fee is collected in cash or by credit card at the time of drawing up the contract. In addition, the tenant's credit card information and authorization are taken as a deposit.
2- The Tenant accepts, declares and undertakes that he/she approves the receipt of all payments (damage, theft, etc.) accepted and committed in this contract from the credit card as mail order.
3- If the reservation is canceled less than 1 hour before the rental time, the 3-day rental fee and extra purchased services and products are deducted from the reservation amount and the remaining amount is returned to the lessor within 7 days. If the rental period is less than 3 days, no refund will be made.
4- If the vehicle is not received at the rental time without canceling the reservation, the provisions regarding the cancellation of the reservation within less than 1 hour are applied and the remaining amount is refunded to the lessor within 7 days, deducting the 3-day rental fee and the extra purchased services and products.
5- If the vehicle is delivered earlier than the rental period after the vehicle is received, no refund will be made for the remaining days.
License duration
- At least 2 years for economy group vehicles
- At least 3 years for medium group vehicles
- Having a driving license for at least 5 years for top and luxury group vehicles
Since the above prerequisites will be required during the rental, you can receive the vehicle if you have your driver's license and credit card with you. For our non-Turkish customers, a passport and a document showing that the date of entry to Turkey is less than 6 months must be attached.
